The USA Lab 5L Spray Dryer is a high-capacity instrument engineered to convert aqueous solutions and suspensions directly into uniform micro-powders. By eliminating the need for filtering, concentrating, or crushing materials before drying, it streamlines workflows and delivers consistent results at scale.

Spray drying is achieved by dissolving, emulsifying, or dispersing the core substance in a carrier solution, then atomizing it into fine droplets. These are rapidly dried in a heated air stream, producing solid particles that are separated and collected through a cyclone system. Equipped with a pneumatic atomization spray system and 0.7 mm nozzle, the 5L ensures fine particle formation and reliable performance batch after batch.

While smaller spray dryers are designed for laboratories and pilot projects, the 5L model is specifically built for industrial and larger-scale applications. With an evaporation capacity of 5000 ml/h, a 10 kW heating system, and a robust 450 kg stainless steel and borosilicate glass construction, it is capable of handling demanding production runs in pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, dairy, pigments, chemicals, and biotechnology.

The system is reinforced with 316L stainless steel contact components, PTFE seals, and durable glassware for long-term chemical resistance. Its Siemens PLC control system and 7-inch touchscreen interface provide intuitive operation, precise parameter control, and automated nozzle cleaning for maximum uptime.
