Carbon Chemistry ZeoClear™ L Granular Filtration Media

A more aggressive media than ZeoClear Y™, ZeoClear™ L is a naturally occurring granular attapulgite which is specifically thermally activated and calcined to provide durable granules with a high surface area. A more moderate media capable of adsorbing color bodies (such as carotenoids) and polar contaminants. Micron Size 250 - 595 um pH of 6.7.

Ideal for general product improvement, ZeoClear™ L is a highly effective media for color remediation and contaminant adsorption. It is commonly used for in-line color remediation from non-polar hydrocarbon solutions such as extracts in butane or propane. ZeoClear™ L can be used alone or tuned for less aggressive adsorption by combining with ZeoClear™ Y.

1:6 (75g per lb of plant material) Polish - light touch for best material

1:4 (112g per lb of plant material) Refine - medium load for product improvement

1:3 (150g per lb of plant material) Transform - more aggressive contaminant removal
