Description
Carbon Chemistry ZeoClear™ L Granular Filtration Media
Carbon Chemistry ZeoClear™ L Granular Filtration Media is a naturally occurring granular attapulgite that is thermally activated and calcined to produce durable granules with high surface area. It provides moderate adsorption performance for color bodies, such as carotenoids, and polar contaminants in filtration and remediation workflows.
ZeoClear™ L is designed for general product improvement and is commonly used for in-line color remediation of non-polar hydrocarbon solutions, including extracts processed with butane or propane. Its granular format provides a practical filtration media option for applications requiring controlled adsorption and contaminant removal.
The media can be used independently or combined with ZeoClear™ Y to tune adsorption performance. Suggested loading rates range from 75g to 150g per pound of plant material depending on whether the goal is a light polish, medium refinement, or more aggressive transformation.
Granular Attapulgite 250–595 μm pH 6.7 Color Remediation Non-Polar Hydrocarbon Filtration
High Surface Area: Thermally activated and calcined granular attapulgite provides durable media with high surface area for adsorption applications.
Moderate Adsorption: Designed to adsorb color bodies and polar contaminants for general product improvement.
Flexible Loading: Suggested rates from 75g to 150g per pound of plant material support different remediation objectives.
