The problem

Off-the-shelf wasn't built for your process.

Generic equipment forces you to adapt your workflow to the gear. When precision, throughput, and safety are on the line, "close enough" costs you.

01

Lost throughput

Equipment that almost fits creates bottlenecks, workarounds, and wasted cycles that compound every shift.

02

Safety compromises

Wrong materials, ratings, or fittings for your chemistry put your people and your compliance at risk.

03

No room to scale

Stock gear locks you into one capacity. When demand grows, you're buying all over again instead of scaling up.

From a $500 part to a full production line — we build it. We'll beat any quote you've got

One front door

Three ways we build with you.

Three distinct kinds of work under one roof — fabrication, chemistry, and the expertise to run it. Most projects pull from more than one, and it's the same team start to finish.

01

Build to spec

You have a drawing or a clear idea. We engineer it, get your CAD sign-off, and fabricate it in-house — from one modified part to a full system.

  • Tanks, reactors, columns & vessels
  • Distillation & extraction systems
  • Skids, frames & custom glassware
Start a build
02

R&D & formulation

You have a problem to solve or a product to develop. Our staff chemist runs the bench work — formulations, process development, and proof of concept.

  • Product & formulation development
  • Process R&D and optimization
  • Polymerization, extraction & pilot work
Bring us a problem
03

Consulting & commissioning

You need the expertise around the equipment. We help select, install, dial-in, and document your process — from a single call to a full lab build-out.

  • On-site setup & training
  • SOPs, peer review & troubleshooting
  • Full lab design & workflow

What we build

Spec it, and it's on the table.

Equipment, systems, chemistry, or supply, in metal, glass, or plastic. If it can be specced, we've likely built it, and if we haven't, we'll engineer it with you from a blank sheet.

01

Tanks, Vessels & Pressure Equipment

Stainless or alloy, jacketed, custom ports and fittings, and sanitary finishes, built to your dimensions and pressure spec.Fabrication
02

Reactors & Distillation Systems

Glass and stainless reactors, short-path and wiped-film systems configured to your throughput.Systems
03

Custom Glassware

Modified or scratch-built borosilicate to your drawings: flasks, columns, custom joints and geometries.Glass
04

Custom Formulations & Solvents

Specific concentrations, blends, grades, and denatured formulas, from a single batch to standing supply.Chemistry
05

Transfer & Process Systems

Pumps, manifolds, transfer assemblies and skids built around your existing line and footprint.Process
06

Private Label & Branding

Laser-etched logos, custom labels, color, and documentation so it ships ready for your shelves.Branding

… and plenty more. This is just a slice of what we build — tell us what you need.

The difference

Custom vs. close enough.

Stock equipment is faster to buy and slower to live with. Here's where a build to spec pulls ahead.

A few things we've made real.

Custom builds across extraction, processing, and research. Every one started as someone's spec.

Anatomy of a system

We build the whole line — or any piece of it.

From concept to commissioning we design, source, fabricate, integrate, and support complete process systems — or any single component within them.

How it works

From first call to running process.

Tell us the goal

A spec, a sketch, or just a problem to solve. The more detail, the faster we move — but a goal is enough to start.

Scope & engineer

Our team — chemist and engineers — confirms approach, materials, and timeline, then quotes it.

Design & CAD

Drawings or a 3D model for your sign-off. Revise until it's exactly right — before anything is built.

Source & integrate

We build what we build best and source the rest — pumps, glass, fittings, instrumentation — into one system.

Test & validate

Built, tested, and documented — leak checks, dialing-in, SOPs, and the paperwork your process needs.

Deliver & commission

Shipped, installed, and dialed in. We help you get it running — and set up for next time.

Most builds ship in 4 to 12 weeks.

Speed is core to how we work. Simpler builds finish in as little as 4 weeks; complex systems run up to 12 — and you approve the design before we build or source anything.

Chemist on staff

A working lab behind the build.

Most equipment companies stop at the sale. We have a staff chemist in-house who can take a project from a question on a whiteboard to a validated, repeatable process — and a shop that can build whatever that process needs.

The chemist

We don't just sell the gear. We solve the chemistry.

Bring us a yield problem, a new product, a scale-up, or a process you can't get to run right. Our chemist does the R&D and formulation; our engineers build the system around it — including a pilot rig to prove it out before you commit to capital. One team, idea to production.

Process system USA Lab helped install at Natures TicketInstalled at Natures Ticket
We have been very happy with the team at USA Lab. They helped us figure out what equipment was right for us to achieve our goals when we were building our lab. We also ran into some challenges while dialing in the equipment, so we utilized some of their consulting services. Dale assisted us in getting our production numbers up to the level we needed, and that was a game changer. We will continue to utilize their products and services throughout the different stages of our growth and view them as a valuable partner.

Your questions, answered

Custom, demystified.

01What can you actually build?
Custom solutions across lab equipment, glassware, stainless steel vessels, reactors, distillation systems, transfer systems, formulations, and more. Whether it's a modified version of something we already make or a completely new design from your drawings, we can help.
02What's the typical turnaround?
Lead times depend on complexity, but most custom projects run 4 to 12 weeks. We confirm a timeline once we've reviewed your request and scoped the build, and we hold to it.
03How much does a custom build cost?
Pricing depends on size, materials, design complexity, and features. Once we have your requirements, our team sends a detailed quote built around your specific project. No guesswork.
04Can you modify an existing USA Lab product?
Often the fastest path. If you like one of our products but need different fittings, sizes, finishes, or accessories, we can usually accommodate those changes without starting from scratch.
05Will I see drawings before you build?
Yes. For most custom jobs we provide a drawing or 3D CAD model for your approval before production begins. You'll have the chance to request revisions and confirm every detail first.
06Do you offer private label or custom branding?
Absolutely. We can apply your branding to many custom products: laser-etched logos, custom labels, or color schemes. Ask us about minimums and capabilities for your specific run.
07What if I'm not sure exactly what I need?
That's a normal place to start. Come to us with the problem or the goal, not a finished spec. Our team, including a staff chemist, will help figure out the right approach, materials, and sizing before anything is designed or quoted.
08Can you provide certifications and documentation?
Yes. Depending on the build, we can supply ASME certification, material traceability, engineering drawings, manuals, and certificates of analysis. Tell us what your facility or auditors require and we'll include it.
09Do you offer financing or net terms?
Yes. We offer net terms for qualifying businesses and financing options to spread the cost of larger builds. Ask your specialist and we'll point you to the right application.
10Can you ship nationwide, including freight and hazmat?
We ship across the U.S., from small parcels to palletized freight for large vessels and skids, and we handle hazmat shipments where required. We'll sort out crating and logistics as part of the build.
Let's build it

Have something in mind? We'll make it real.

Send us your requirements and a custom project specialist will come back with a plan, pricing, and a timeline — and we'll beat any competing quote.
