Alconox is a concentrated, anionic powdered precision cleaner designed for manual and ultrasonic cleaning applications. Its free-rinsing formulation helps provide reliable cleaning results without interfering residues and offers an effective alternative to corrosive acids and hazardous solvents.
This Alconox precision cleaner is suitable for cleaning glass, metal, stainless steel, porcelain, ceramic, plastic, rubber, and fiberglass. It can also be used on soft metals such as copper, aluminum, zinc, and magnesium when rinsed promptly. A 1% solution can make up to 50 gallons or approximately 200 liters of cleaner.
Alconox can be used by soaking, brushing, sponging, wiping, ultrasonic cleaning, or flow-through clean-in-place methods. It is formulated to remove soils, grease, oils, blood, tissue, salts, deposits, particulates, solvents, chemicals, silicone oils, mold release agents, and other contaminants. The formulation is USDA authorized for use in federally inspected meat and poultry plants and is FDA certified.
