Winged Sentry Benchtop Fume Extractor | USA Lab

The Winged Sentry is a compact benchtop air filtration system that provides an energy-efficient, quiet, and economical solution for many fume extraction needs. This system features adjustable "wing flaps" to assist in directing fumes towards the unit's inlet, into the filter chamber, and away from the operator’s breathing zone. When used with the acrylic lid, this system offers a “hood-like” enclosure without the confines of an actual fume hood. The operator can place these wings in the most effective position for their particular application, or they can be positioned flat against the sides of the unit to conserve space. New for this line of benchtop fume extractors is the WSL2 – Model 300 Generation 2. This new improved unit offers an LED light and a user-friendly control panel that allows the operator to adjust the fan speed, light intensity, and monitor the filter’s saturation.

Appropriate filtration media are installed in the Winged Sentry based on the application being performed by the operator. HEPA [up to 99.97% efficient on particles 0.3 microns and larger], ASHRAE [up to 95% efficient on particles 0.5 microns and larger], Activated Carbon, and specialty-blended media [i.e. Acid Gas, Mercury, Aldehyde, Ammonia] are the most common filters for this unit.
