The OHAUS Scout SPX6201 is a high-capacity portable balance engineered for rapid, repeatable results. With a 6,200 g maximum capacity and 0.1 g readability, it’s ideal for laboratories, classrooms, and industrial benches that need dependable everyday precision.
A large backlit LCD improves readability in low-light conditions and from a distance. Integrated overload protection and an impact-resistant stainless-steel square pan keep the balance performing reliably in demanding environments.
Advanced weighing technology provides stabilization in about 1 second. Power the unit with the included AC adapter or 4 × AA batteries (up to ~80 hours). Optional accessories enable RS232, USB (Host/Device), Ethernet, and Bluetooth connectivity.
