Caldera 7 is a premium silicone heat transfer fluid formulated with an advanced additive system designed to provide superior performance and protection. It effectively guards against oxidation, wear, rust, and corrosion. Being compatible with most silicone-based fluid technologies available in the market, Caldera 7 can be mixed in any ratio without issue, ensuring versatility and convenience in various applications.
Caldera 7 remains stable up to a maximum film temperature of 691°F (366°C), making it suitable for the most intensive heat transfer applications. The fluid's comprehensive temperature range allows it to perform reliably in both sealed-heater and open-heater systems.
Temperature Range and Applications
- Sealed-Heater Systems: Suitable for closed loop systems with a maximum bulk temperature of 601°F (316°C).
- Open-Heater Systems: Suitable for open loop systems with a maximum bulk temperature of 400°F (204°C).
